Love Our Great City

What Moved me

What Moved Me

I decided to step up and run for Denver Mayor because this election could not be more critical. I think of the Denver I want my daughter to stay and thrive in. What kind of city are we going to leave our kids?

Growing up with a single mom in West Denver, we faced a lot of hurdles: addiction, violence, housing insecurity. Still, this incredible city and community helped us through those tough times. I’m grateful to her and I want to pay it forward.

That's why I’ve spent the last 25 years working in finance and volunteering on local civic and nonprofit organizations to build affordable housing communities, schools, and health clinics that went on to serve tens of thousands of Denverites. I'm ready to keep that fight going. Join me, and together we can build a city where every Denverite, regardless of their neighborhood, can achieve their version of success.

Vision and Solutions

I’m so excited to turn our attention to vision opportunities quickly upon implementing so many of our innovative and effective solutions for Denver’s pressing needs. Please see this hint as to what that discussion will bring!

Meet Trinidad

I am a native Denverite, who has worked an over 20-year career financing social infrastructure that resulted in classrooms, clinic and hospital facilities, and affordable housing units for tens of thousands of Denver youth and families.
I have led organizations and causes that are dedicated to creating and maintaining affordability and vibrancy in the city, including Denver Housing Authority, the Downtown Denver Partnership, and Blueprint Denver. I am joined by life-long and newer friends, leaders, and engaged members of the community in this mayoral bid.
